
Brocks Academy hires year-round. We require commitment for the school year to ensure continuity for our students but we hope you’ll stay longer. Many of our tutors and teachers do!

Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with teaching, tutoring or coaching students.
- A degree from an accredited four-year university (experienced college students will be considered)
- Experience working with executive functioning/organizational skills and other learning differences a plus.
- An up-beat, enthusiastic and motivating personality.
- Great communication skills.
- An understanding that tutoring and teaching hours can fluctuate.
- Ability to manage your own schedule.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to Woodinville and other cities in the Seattle Greater Eastside.
Working Hours:
You are master of your own schedule but during the school year, families typically request tutoring once or twice a week between 3 and 8pm and sometimes a weekend. Because we are an accredited school, we also have daytime students during the school year. We are open for teaching and tutoring year- round so there’s ample opportunity for summer work too. Summer schedules are generally more flexible.
Locations:
Some of our students request tutoring or classes out of our downtown Woodinville site but others are taught in their homes (with an adult in the house) local library or other public place.
