Yeah for my son’s elementary school librarian!
My son came home excited about the Flappy Bird game he coded during library time. My junior high son wanted to see it and then for the next hour the two of them coded a Star Wars game we all had fun playing.
Like many parents I have tried to harness their deep love of video games into coding tutorials so they could build their own games. All I heard was, “boring”.
So image my joy when my children decided coding is fun. To get excited about writing code they just needed slick pre-drawn graphics, ready-made coding blocks and branded characters.
