Let’s Get Creative!

New_hampshire_in_autumn2Autumn is here and for many of us that means the rain has arrived as well. With the rain outside, children spend more of their time indoors, mostly playing video games. But the television doesn’t have to take over! This is an excellent opportunity to do something creative.

Creativity is essential to a child’s development. According to Alison Gopnik, “Through creative experiences children are literally building their brains for life.” Creativity encourages your child to ask questions, to think about problems from different perspectives and to develop a feel for experimenting.

So instead of video games in Autumn, here are some sources for creative projects.
